Community guidelines

A practical standard for a parent community built around care, privacy, and useful support.

The community promise

Speak to people as if they are tired, trying, and worthy of dignity. Share experience as experience—not as a diagnosis, prescription, or universal rule.

Welcome

  • Questions, tiny wins, hard days, and phase-matched practical ideas.
  • Respectful disagreement and varied cultures, bodies, abilities, feeding methods, families, and timelines.
  • Encouragement to contact a qualified professional when a concern exceeds peer support.

Not allowed

  • Harassment, threats, hate, humiliation, stalking, sexual content, or exploitation.
  • Child photos, full names, precise locations, school/daycare details, medical records, phone numbers, emails, or other identifying information.
  • Medication doses, diagnoses, dangerous challenges, anti-treatment pressure, or false claims presented as medical fact.
  • Self-harm encouragement, child-abuse content, illegal goods, scams, spam, recruiting, or undisclosed promotion.
  • Requests for direct contact, private groups, money, or off-platform transactions.

How moderation works

Circle access stays restricted until automated screening, trained human review coverage, reporting, and account blocking are operating together. Once open, posts and comments are screened before general visibility. Automated systems can hold content for human review; trained moderators can approve, reject, remove, restore, warn, suspend, or escalate with a recorded rationale. Users can report content and block accounts. A report is not an emergency response.

Urgent safety

If a child or adult may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. The Circle and its moderators are not continuously monitored emergency channels.

Appeals

A person may ask support to review a moderation action. Appeals should identify the post or comment and explain the relevant context without resubmitting prohibited private information.
